Born and raised a hip hop head out of the midwest, Cartman always had an affinity for music. In 2017, he began his music career as a rap artist, releasing several tracks and projects in which he frequently flexed his unique sound and songwriting ability. Over the course of the next several years, he grew into a more complete artist while branching into more experimental projects and ultimately blending elements from hip-hop, indie pop and alternative into his own unique sound. Cartman cites his biggest influences as Mac Miller, Dominic Fike & Jean Dawson. These influences, along with his artistic growth, can be felt throughout his discography including "Waves" (2025), "CRASH" (2025), and his latest single, "TIME" (2026).
