Born and raised a hip hop head out of the midwest, Cartman always had an affinity for music. In 2017, he began his music career as a rap artist, releasing several tracks and projects in which he frequently flexed his unique sound and songwriting ability. Over the course of the next several years, his music tastes expanded as he grew into a more complete artist, branching into more experimental projects and ultimately blending elements from hip hop, indie pop and alternative into his own unique sound. Cartman cites his biggest influences as Mac Miller, Dominic Fike & Jean Dawson. These influences, along with his artistic growth, can be felt throughout his debut album, "Waves" released on May 9th, 2025.
Cartman has since released a surprise single, "LIFE" just months after his debut album and came back in October 2025 with "CRASH", a 4-track EP featuring "Chain Smoking" as the breakout song of the project. He continues to stay busy, releasing another single, "TIME" in March 2026.
